Take action on climate change with Greenfleet
Greenfleet is a 25 year old not-for-profit organisation and Australia’s first carbon offset provider. For a quarter of a century, they have committed to protecting our climate by restoring our forests. They plant native biodiverse forests in Australia and New Zealand to restore critical ecosystems and capture carbon emissions on behalf of their supporters (like Grampians Peaks Walking Co!). Their forests are legally protected, absorb carbon from the atmosphere, improve soil and water quality, and provide vital habitat for native wildlife. Their partnerships with local communities and Traditional Owners support broad benefits for the country and communities in which we live and work.
Responsible Tourism: Putting people & the planet over profit with 1% For The Planet
1% for the Planet is a global movement inspiring businesses to support environmental solutions through annual memberships and everyday actions. 1% for the Planet was founded on the model of their business membership program: responsible businesses giving back to Environmental Partners to create a healthier planet.
Responsible tourism businesses (like us!) join their network, committing to donate the equivalent of 1% of gross sales through a combination of monetary, in-kind and approved promotional support directly to Environmental Partners. 1% for the Planet certifies all member donations, legitimising members’ commitment by reviewing and confirming sales and donation details annually.
To date, their members have given over $435 million in environmental solutions through the 1% for the Planet network.
